Yes. Proxy IQ tests aren't perfect and don't assess trait conscientiousness but they are less biased than any other selection technique we can currently employ (all forms of bias considered). Working my way through Maps of Meaning. Great book. On another note, why does D have Raskolnikov bump off Lizaveta as well as Alyona. Did Dostoevsky think the reader would not be sufficiently outraged by the cruel old woman's death alone? Would R not have felt enough remorse?
