I stopped dealing with Nature's journals a while ago, when both the articles and their PR developed obvious political leans. There's plenty of other great journals out there that focus on the research itself.

20 years ago, Science was the top of the heap. Nature was a distant second and the Nature offshoots were down the list. Not sure what their impact ratings are these days or if that is even a reliable metric anymore.
