If you cover the sides of her mouth she doesn’t appear that strange aside from the eyes. The uncanny valley.

A lot of details, particularly around the mouth and jaw, are off, but not so that you immediately notice. It becomes worse and more uncanny the longer you look.
-
I thought the same. If I cover the mouth from view, it doesn't look as bad.

What’s wrong with it
@timwilliamsart?? -
It’s TOO detailed. The human eye and brain isn’t supposed to see every single detail in art. It’s unsettling. Although this illustrator obviously has skill, he or she provided so much detail that it disturbs most people who view it.

Like what several others have mentioned, I'm inclined to go with the idea of the "uncanny valley" I mean, it does LOOK like a woman (or a human for that matter), but something about the facial features and especially the mouth gives rise to a sense of discomfort

Like a demon masquerading as a human.
