The way Amazon works it usually affects only the current orders... but hey made the same mistake (not waiting) but I am sure the book will be worth the money anyways

Just out of curiosity, are you saying that this is a bad thing or are you saying to buy it since it has been reduced? I'm not a publisher so I don't, but does the author set the price of the book and retailers can sell for whatever or does the author set the retail price?
