Could you please elaborate? I believe selflessness is a degree of selfishness. Willingly raising is done to satisfy oneself. As human beings are driven by intentions, then one of those choices must have a more positive value than the other.

However my metrics for judgement ie selflessness is abstract and hare to quantify. But as a Nigerian, the spike in population is worrying, and the increasing poverty and lack of education available to an increasing amount of young people is worrying

IMO only go for adoption if the biological route, is blocked. Many people who are already blocked. from the natural bio route, can’t get kids via adoption b/c of under-supply. In any case, it’s an incredibly powerful experience to Create New Life. Don’t miss your chance.
