Many religious traditions have memorial rites at anniversary times. The funeral home that buried or cremated your loved one may be able to put you in touch with a support group or religious group that can give you some help with this. Best wishes.

Thanks for replying, what would you say for beyond the early intense stages? After about a month or so?

Depending on your loss, a month or so is still "early intense stage". I lost my husband 5 years ago. I can say for sure, it wasn't until 2 years had passed that I felt out of "acute" grief. Not much advice to give. For the first year, it was all I could do just to stay alive.
