I was addicted to them myself through my twenties. Also temazepam. Easy to get hooked, difficult to break free, but it can be done.

I was prescribed temazepam 10 years for insomnia. At one year post 15-month taper I am slowly recovering. It is a long hard road of suffering. I wouldn't wish it on anyone but there are many thousands of us in this prescribed harm community. Best wishes
