Aside from morals, it is in nature for men to have as much sex with women as they can (also note the multiple wives scenario of the Bible), this helps the race to proliferate. All this to say, women/men should not adopt things that are against nature, it is destructive.

One thing I worry about is prescribing behavior to individuals based on their gender rather than what you know about that person as an individual. I will grant that long term mating has better trade-offs than short-term mating for most people. But...

Real average guy usually have small to none chance to have commitment free sex or sex at all in that matter. I have couple friends that didn't had sex in years and they are not gay. They will probably end up marrying or fall in love to next woman that will have sex with them.
