how about this: sane atheists respect religion and spirituality and can discuss its importance intelligently (i.e. this 'debate'). unfortunately, the brand of atheism currently very popular and powerful encourages a more insane approach. then lots of quotes from old books.

Allen Farrington is a genius. Sorry to blurt this out, but what thinker, what a writer, what a truth seeker. Outside of my reading of Peterson and watching his videos, I haven't been exposed to such brilliance since my days with Joseph Brodsky, Robert Bly, and Thomas McGrath.
