I love this interview. He explains casually that he was once so bad*ss that he was jumped by three people. And grabbed one of them and swung him around as a weapon to fend off the other two. Thats a Gold Star if I ever gave one. And, to simultaneously be a genius? Amazing

Its simply outdated. The information Jung found is used in the (more accurate) Big 5 analysis. Problem with the Myers brigs is people slip too easily from one category to another, making its use for prediction less accurate than B5 over time.

I loved the look he gave as he said it. At the end of the interview he say's that he either knows something or he doesn't, he has no use in believing. So I think the answer to your question is that he knows.
