I guess that’s the point. Alpha males are leaders. Bullies are psychopaths. Though bullies can impress and intimidate through their attitude, they are less respected than true leaders, the alpha males on the case.

Chimpansee politics seems quite advanced, but human politics are much more complicated of course and involve a lot more tricks. It would be nice to know what goes on in their head, is a chimp starts campaigning for leadership -if it's 'just' an act or not- but they can't tell us.
