I guess that means lying without science, e.g. corporate propaganda like "climate change is a hoax," or "smoking doesn't cause cancer," or religious BS like "the world is 5,000 years old," is just fine and dandy.

This is really something that has always confused me. As a person with autism myself, my parents believe it was caused by vaccination. I really think it’s a misunderstanding of how science works. But they believe the whole bible is literally true and that the earth is young. Sad

When many people regard any scientific offering as absolute without even an attempt to validate its claims, that's a big red flag for data manipulation.

We have to take the money out of fake science. All I can think of is tort reform.
