White people don't have a problem with being noted as white or being put into that group, the issue is with hate/stigma/accusations/etc, that come along with that, like you said. I can't think of anyone who has a problem just being called white, never heard anyone object.

I suppose I should be more careful though, I can't speak for all white people. But in my general life experience, people generally don't mind being given accurate, neutral, descriptive labels
