Scruton's remarks re: Chinese, Soros, homophobia & date rape show hiw the out-of-touch he is & hidden dangers of being 'conservative'. Saddened to see a thinker, that I once thought an advocate of Beauty, is capable of such ugly sentiments & lack of self-knowledge or compassion.
