It's true. My daughter is in a wheelchair. CS people are extremely accommodating. Maybe too much so. No one even asks to see her tickets at concerts.

College is supposed to prepare you for the real world and an actual job. Neither of those things are going to change for your specific needs. Learning to adapt to outward and inward hardships are part of being an adult, not expecting everything to change for your personal issues.

I have a young family member with a prior (Y-BOCS) of 39. He is attending the best JD program in the country. He has never used any special consideration, even though he has the option. A strong will is an amazing thing.
