@jordanbpeterson why did you choose the Soviet Union to study, as opposed to other fascist institutions? What did you see about them that shouted "this is what we don't want to become"?

He didn’t, he has studied the Nazi regime extensively as well. It doesn’t come up as much in political discussions because it isn’t as relevant as the totalitarianism of the Soviet Union in the current climate. It’s talked about plenty in his classroom lectures, visit his YouTube
