Hi @jordanbpeterson have you come across the novel When Nietzsche Wept by Irvin Yalom? It’s a wonderful read and I think it’d be right up your alley

don't know about JB Peterson, but I read W.N.W in 1993 as a phd student. 2-3 years ago I read Yalom's Love's Executioner. Both great.

People quote Nietzsche a lot, and it's fashionable to denounce him, but don't often read him.

Great book! How do you reconcile your love of the character of Jesus and his arguments against Christ? Maybe Paul was as big of an usurper as his “father” Jacob? Maybe being an Antichrist (as in NOT sacrificing yourself for the mistakes of others) is the road less traveled?

You should properly read the Bible Jordan. This is my number one book recommendation for you.

It's on the mental list. If I can find Look Who's Back in a charity shop in Huyton Village, I can find this!

Sounds interesting. Going to get it. It does sound like something that would put off your religious fans though, esp. after your tweet on not going to church in protest of its corruption. Very brave.

Why doesn't he go to church? I mean he said he's a Christian right?
