Yep. Am German and can confirm. We need better battery technologies and a stronger electrical grid before we start seriously investing in renewables.

you can build pumped-storage hydroelectric power stations, do not use big batteries, its not viable, not sustainable for large scale like nation wide energy storage, it would ruin the planet in no time. Germans are able to build those PSHs, and its way to go for the green energy
