Some traditions are inherently harmful. It is not the nature of males that is harmful but the imposition of rigid gender boxes. Have seen first hand what traditional male roles do to hurt men. It is ugly. Slavery is also traditional. Do you want that back???

Guideline 3 from the document basically says, "acknowledge your privilege, blame the patriarchy, and choose social justice." That may in fact help some men, but "acknowledge your sin and pledge your life to Jesus" may help some men too. It is not the APA's place to indoctrinate.
