I think he presented a fairly balanced view. Though it was framed in language of "Us vs. Them", it simply had to be framed that way. The arresting thing I picked up, was that this kind of "Leftist extremism", is censoring real scientific facts.

Well JP, encourage them to keep coming out. We know if ideology takes over, it takes a long time to reverse its foothold (see religion for details). We need those voices to be loud and not quelled by fear.

It's about time biologists get push-back from those who have steadfastly rejected the encroachment of biology into social sciences, sometimes with great damage.

Greater processing power, but humans follow the same self serving strategies as every other organism. When eminent scientists have abandoned the truth in favour of reputation, it is not surprising that weaklings ignore truths in order to pursue self-serving ideologies.
