As a Swede I've always viewed Denmark as "a step ahead" regarding discussion about sensitive topics. Probably because the representatives our government send to tax funded debates between our countries constantly play identity politics and push a left-leaning agenda.

I think the balance is to be found somewhere between the Swedish and Danish ways. The downside for our (the Danish) way of doing it is that it always seems like the real bigots are getting way too much exposure.
