To be honest i don't get how the "jews are rich" case is still going on in this day and age , you'd think it would end 100 years ago at most. It seems like they look at all the big names and see they're jewish so they're envious and resentful and that turns into a stereotype.

Yes, blame the victims. Expulsions were probably more closely linked to Replacement Theology and the need to “prove” it. As for “insular self preservation”, you couldn’t find a more assimilated population of Jews than that of pre-WWII Germany...
