Treason in the US has a very specific constitutional meaning Article III section 3: Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.

Stupid and dishonest, yes. Treasonous ? No, that's a private matter (if proven, though) that just happens to have influence because people use Google. I started boycotting Google after the @JamesADamore memo and subsequent firing, and that's what people should do.

treason only really works as an accusation when there is a consensus on who "we" are & who's the enemy. here, a whole population thinks it's "doing the right thing" like the librarian who thought it wd b good 2 take your books off the shelf. #TrahisonOfTheInformationProfessionals
