It's a stark reflection on the common thought in our society that reminding people men have issues too can be seen as sexist and bigoted, and is not given anything close to the reverent respect received by feminism or BLM.

If patriarchy and masculinity is such a concern, would it not make sense for there to also be men's studies programmes oriented towards solving men's issues? It seems counter intuitive to point to a problem and then refuse to investigate it in earnest.
