I was a homeless veteran until recently. Bipolar, drug abuse, etc. Let me tell you: masculinity, or rather the lack there of, is our biggest problem. We fail to be useful. We fail to believe in ourselves. We fail to be resilient. What causes that is the question.

In the UK the state always provides housing if children are involved, but decent hardworking men can end up homeless after a bout of illness or tragedy and there is no safety net at all they do end up on the streets often. Rules are slanted very much in womens favour these days.
