I can’t speak globally. But as a former wildland firefighter. I can tell you over conservation in California has lead to more intense fires. We have over grown forests that have not burned naturally in over 150 years. Mostly due to fire suppression.

He doesn't make direct statements of yes or no. He makes comments that are fuzzy and are not easy to pin down. I am certain he would say he believes in climate change, but views it from the frame of the Tao, like to much CO2 is a bad thing, but too little is a bad thing.
