I guess it's over for universities or for the Humanities specifically, it's kind of sad, I can remember when my grandfather was complaining about the direction the humanities were taking back in 1978 seems shocking however it's been going on for 30 plus years so I guess it's not.

My grandfather being the dean of humanities Seattle Pacific University way back in the day, it's really is sort of pathetic, the echo chamber of idiocy, but everything changes, time moves on, the old stocks are ground into the dirt and become mulch for the new growth.

Just listening to that disciplinary hearing again, infuriated me all over again. Dr. J.P. Is brilliantly courageous. Rex Murphy is one of the best journalists in the country. People need to listen to these people, not idiots like Nathan R. of Laurier U. Fire him.

I volunteer at my local school district where I attend meeting after meeting, listening to educators say they have to "open a dialog" about this or that. Then they move on to the next topic, as if SAYING they "need to open a dialog" somehow solved it.
