Lmao of course you're a climate denier as well.

The next Ice Age is in 50,000 years so who cares
-
Probably not, given that the climate forcing from current emissions far outweigh the causes of cyclical ice ages as we understand them.
-
What are you saying?
-
I am saying that the next Ice age probably won't be on time, given the long-lasting warming effect of our emissions.https://edition.cnn.com/2016/01/14/world/ice-age-postponed/index.html …
-
So 50000 or 100000 years, whatever it’s happening so why make a fuss
-
Because human civilization is only about 5000 years old, has flourished in the current holocene climate, and will suffer massive problems if we allow further warming, which will likely cause further ecological collapse, food and water shortages, conflicts and mass migration.
-
Rising ocean levels combined with changing weather patterns, the thawing of permafrost and the melting of most land-based ice and snow will radically change the living conditions in most of the populated parts of the world. This is potentially catastrophic.

When I moved to Calgary 25 years ago, the "environmental scientists" said by the year 2020 the Bow River would be completely dried up, along with Calgary's water supply. Here's a recent photo.pic.twitter.com/1GW5xzCrMa
-
What is your point?
-
My point is exactly as stated in the video: for every group of alarmist scientists, there's another group of scientists that have an opposing view. The alarmists and politicians telling you the sky is falling doesn't make it so. Clear that up for ya?
-
Rather be alarmed and wrong and implement mitigative measures that are a net positive, than be nonchalant and ignore things and be wrong.
-
Wow...never expected to hurt the feelings of so many scientists.

Why would you *not* want to stop harming the earth????
-
Because that would involve acknowledging that change is required, which is apparently far worse than ending the possibility for civilised human life.

Is Jordan Peterson being dishonest or is he just not as intelligent as his fans say he is?

Dr. Peterson, respectfully I think it be better you stay in what your field of expertise is. You're losing me and I imagine potentially a lot of people with this sort of stuff populist talk. Kind regards, a fan of your personality studies.
-
Just admit you've been taken for a ride by an absolute fraud pal.
-
so then carl jung, sigmund freud, nietzsche are all also just frauds that took the psychology community and mankind for a ride? please. why do people always have to be either 100% for or against someone, never in between actual rational thinking. just fucking as binary as can be
-
Wait...so it’s possible that being binary is...unreasonable, given the vast variation in every aspect and dimension in life? Huh. So interesting that a simple binary, black-white, good-bad, male-female, true-false dichotomy DOESN’T explain everything in existence! Who’d a thunk?
-
yeah uh...lmao but why are you talking like that? am i your enemy now? this is how twitter works i guess right? we literally seem to agree on this. but bcuz this twitter you gotta wanna argue w me. man discussing stuff over twitter is some mad crazy dumb shit hahaha impossible
-
It’s sarcastic, yes. But aimed at people who defend JBP always arguing about the gender binary, about TRUTH, about good vs evil, “archetypes” etc like these are infallible concepts, yet gloss over how almost EVERYTHING has grey zones. They ignore it until it applies to them.
-
Like a lot of people, JBP has a lot of interesting stuff to say... And a lot of BULLSHIT.
-
Most JBP fans use out-of-the-blue stats to say things like “95.5% of what he says is VERITAS, 4% is hyperbole, 0.25% is unknowable conjecture and 0.25% is actual bullshit” and this is utterly ludicrous reasoning.
