Personally, I like everyone to butt out of how I parent. Liberal or conservative. I have resources from own ancestry, home & personal self.

I used to take my son to a seasonal campground where the kids would run around in the dark playing while the parents gathered around a campfire. Its tough for parents in the city, though. The danger of free-range parenting is that pedophiles will likely stalk that community.

I am so, so glad my parenting young’uns days are done. It seems as if helicopter parenting is no longer discouraged but compelled. My parents and grandparents would have been on death row for encouraging me to be independent.
