It's so scary that this is how everything is naturally supposed to be. Assuming there's no greater purpose, only we give life any sort of meaning, and that's weird to me.

Population is a factor. Population increases, and lack of renewable things to gather and hunt lead to population dispersal, and a new reset...over and over, until situational agriculture stabilized populations, until population forced migration.
