Destruction of the environment is a necessity born out of poverty. The richer a country get the more they tend to care about the environment. Case in point, you're living in a rich country and care about the environment.

For those with an open mind, it’s been clear for decades prosperous nations treat their environment so much better than repressive regimes. Technology, embraced, promotes efficiency. Pollution of any kind, to us engineers, implies inefficiency. We hate that.

I have and that is a very ignorant statement. You don’t need trees because we have a few rain forests left that help the whole world,Silly. We could use more of them though. I wonder how well you would do if there were no forests left? Make of that what you will.

Isn't it amazing? US Forestry industry depleted dude identity politics. Mandate to hire women and African-American men over lifelong loggers. And NAFTA didn't do anything to help it. Less competent workers last need for work. Will buy it through Canada and pay more
