Bill Clinton received 2.8% of the vote in the 1992 Iowa Caucus and went on to be a 2-term President. Regardless of where finishes, the fight is FAR from over! I challenge my fellow Iowans to not only persist, but to up their intensity. Now we fight harder

  2. Those 100+ people will spread the word to even more Iowans. This idea that Andrew failed here is insane. 5.2% of the vote in a state where he was polling at 2-3% This is LOOOOONG from over. Head high, chin up, everything’s gonna be alright. We got this shit!

  3. Anybody saying wasted his money in Iowa is INSANE! ’s presence in Iowa during January is what captivated me. Pushed me to caucus for the first time. To canvass. To spread the word. Since then I have introduced over 100 Iowans to Andrew and his policies.

  4. Today I challenge every who reads this tweet to reach out to 3 PEOPLE who are politically inactive. ACTIVATE and EMPOWER them to think about what is truly important to them. Andrew’s policies are for everybody. Don’t let his ideas go to waste.

I did the and if everybody who donated to Andrew’s campaign (500,000+) made just TWO calls to New Hampshire, we can reach all of the approximately 1.05 million adults before the primary next week.

I‘d like to see Yang get aggressive during the debate on Friday night and mention the other candidates by name. Otherwise he won’t get enough speaking time and media coverage. He’s shown he can win any policy argument - it’s time to show it on the debate stage.

It would be great if a State of the Union speech made you feel better about the state of the country and the direction we are headed. I think the tradition of a ‘response’ should be examined.

    - stay strong. We got over 5% of the popular vote and should be higher as final numbers come in. We were real in Iowa and New Hampshire can be a great state for us with its open primary. Keep fighting.

I blame absolutely no one for feeling dejected or angry today. My mood’s been off all day too. But wanna remind everyone that we were above Pete and Amy nationally in two recent polls. Very easy to forget that. Iowa = 1% of delegates. If we perform in NH, we’re back.

I wish you could have heard the gasps and watched the jaws drop around the room when I announced my count (13) for at my 56-person precinct. They didn’t see us coming.

12:27am Central: 5 CNN anchors are laughing back and forth over the desk about how dumb and incompetent the state of Iowa is. Not their party running the caucus, the people of the state. Remember what they think of you in November.

In our precinct, people were told that the threshold for viability was “not 15% but the total number of caucus goers divided by 6 (aka 16.67%)” Can anybody tell me why this is something that was being said?

If Democrats argue for trust in government it’s incumbent on us to build and provide reasons for that trust.
