Perfect example of just how melodic speech can be. I often get the melody of these NPR sign-offs stuck in my head

A moment of quiet reflection in the misty mountains of Northern California before I set off on the big trip. Tuesday I leave for a month of travel, including Sierra Leone, Kenya and India to film a series of videos for Right Sharing of World Resources.

Attended a family wedding in South Carolina a few weeks ago. Indoors, not a single mask. We felt like the biggest weirdos hanging out on the porch while everyone hugged and laughed and exchanged breath inside.

So, not to pick on John, but this take is actually wrong and OP is right. Because something catastrophic *did* happen to Gen X and the Xennial's music: the Telecommunication Act of 1996. It's story time, kids... 1/ twitter.com/adr/status/145…

Pretty wild to see people imply there's going to be a "next time" for climate legislation. I mean, sure, you can technically pass a climate bill whenever. 2100, even. But I think the nature of the problem has eluded you.
