In less than 24 hours my office has received over 1,000 emails demanding that San Francisco defund the police department

My idea would be to replace the police with well paid social workers, therapists, and support liaisons. Create a safety net for people that are in need.

If the mob starts extorting & taxing small businesses, will the social workers have a friendly chat with them?

Oh please, the mob? JFC...don’t @ me again. I don’t have time for nonsense. Also, the “mob” isn’t handled by police, it’s handed by federal investigators. I’m talking about loca law enforcement.

So if a local gang’s minions are extorting the small businesses, then said small business owner will call....what’s the emergency line for the F.B.I. again? By your logic, the local police force will spout some “jurisdiction” drivel?

This is beyond asinine. Whether it’s “defund” or “”dismantle”, its a call to either hollow-out or destroy law enforcement capacity. And somehow every resident will have a meeting of the minds on following the law? But the social workers will protect us.
