This rumor has been mentioned multiple times in the FB Group 'Protect Nebraska Children.' Naming the school district and then it later appeared the superintendent denied this.

I found the PNC post from last month, I blacked out the school name so they wouldn't get unwanted attention...After hundreds of comments, it appeared the school secretary said this was not true....no litter boxes were requested.

Yes, but someone totally heard that they were, and that is MORE than enough for a GQP to campaign on. Expect it to see a dozen people elected to various levels of government over the next few years.
Why campaign on difficult things, when the base loves made up ones instead?
