No it definitely was not!!! The loan was agreed prior to May 2019 when the Conservatives lost their majority. Only the Conservative group supported it.https://twitter.com/SteveDorsett/status/1336301514978177024 …

Cllr Lyons voted for it I believe? Of your current group only 4 of you voted against it so it can’t have been that ridiculous a proposal.

We were certainly supportive of plans for the football club. I was talking specifically about the £250m loan.

Really? Because the minutes say you abstained (as usual) on the stadium. You’ve got a vote on these things, you should start using it!pic.twitter.com/h8NZRGKZRH

That is not about the £250m loan. That was covered in a part II meeting. It didn't go to a vote. The Independents and some Labour members had left the meeting - it was approaching 11pm so there was a clear Conservative majority.

The voting records on this are all on the council’s website, you might want to check before tweeting....pic.twitter.com/yqaZQAEUCn

Apologies. I have just checked there. I was looking at internal council records which for some reason don't show the voting breakdown. As you will see we voted against as a group and Cllr Chrystie, who later joined the Lib Dems, abstained.

No worries. Just pointing out not correct to say only Con group supported the loan so an we won’t see that line from you again.
