Overall that was very detailed and open from Dominic Cummings. People who didn’t like him yesterday won’t like him tomorrow but the decisions he took at each stage appear reasonable in the circumstances (which doesn’t mean you have to agree with them).
He undoubtedly has a privileged position in being able to do what he did, most people don’t have the option. That doesn’t make it wrong. I don’t actually think the distance has any bearing as there was no risk of infection on that 250 mile journey

Il sorry, but that is not so. The govt at the time was asking people not to travel to avoid the risk of accident, breakdown etc, and the unnecessary strain that would put on the health service. Go back and check. That’s why there was a controversy over driving to exercise.
