This is a disgrace. The Erasmus programme allowed me to spend a year in Spain as part of my university degree, meaning I graduated as a fluent speaker of a foreign language. The Govt is committed to Britain being in the Erasmus+ scheme. They are just not writing negotiation outcomes into law in case they can’t get them, which is sensible. OK. But we’ve gone from being in the Erasmus scheme, to maybe being in the Erasmus scheme. Until I see that so-called commitment (which is now in jeopardy) guaranteed, I’ll continue to be sceptical, worried and heartbroken.
