We’ve had trials of Voter ID in #Woking for the last two years. 2 myths debunked:
1. It didn’t impact turnout
2. The Council will issue a free elector ID card to anyone who doesn’t have an acceptable form of photo ID.

When I applied for a blue badge it wiped me out for days afterwards. I manage to pace my life so I don't end up in hospital, but you want me to faff about finding people to sign my form for me and so on. I rarely go out.

It’s very strange how the only people who have a problem with voter ID is the Lib Undemocratic and the Labour Party. Both party’s wanting to overturn Brexit and a certain party proven to participate in postal voter fraud.

I'm not happy about people being denied their vote. It will particularly affect the poor, the elderly and disabled because these groups less likely to have photo id, & there's no point as electoral fraud is tiny. Abuse of data by shady political think-tanks OTOH...

If it’s going to cost money for the government to provide these free IDs, and by your own admission people turned away largely come back, then what’s the need for this anyway? Seems like a lot of faff, confusion, and consternation for no gain

It's designed to deter voting, that's it. Straight from the Republicans and we must fight it.
