The virus fully explains the gap. GL started the year with a balanced budget, aiming to earn income of £38m. It's going to earn very little + one-off income (furlough etc) will only narrow the gap to £25m. Whether the ALEO model is right is another Q, but that was a Lab decision.

Can’t say I buy your version of events that the same Whitehall pool that was threatened w/ closure last year is now exclusively at risk this year because of covid & has nothing to do with budget cuts voted on by your party. I’ll keep this in mind when using my preferences in 2022

Don’t dispute that covid will have an impact, but do question the impact of cuts on our city and how Green Councillors might be better directing a petition towards Green MSPs rather than tolerating austerity attacks on local government
