@NicolaSturgeon and@AlisonThewliss to reflect on work to tackle fireworks misuse in Pollokshields. Thanks to a team effort, led by the local community, calls to Police were down 86% from the previous year.pic.twitter.com/A0U86Zw4yE

Then, I popped along to Albert Cross to see that the road closures which have been in place for 82 days since the major fire there are almost away. The roads should be open fully on Monday. It’s important now to get out and support local businesses who’ve suffered.

On days like today, stories of hope are important. I want with all my heart to be back in the European Union one day and I'll never give up that hope. But I'll also keep doing my bit by building and supporting community in my own wee corner of the Southside.
