Whitewash a rescue that was predominantly carried out by British/Australian/Belgian/Canadian rescue divers? This isnt to cause an argument but the main cast would have to be fairly even split amongst foreign elite divers and Thai Seals/Doctors.
I refuse to let Hollywood #whitewashout the Thai Cave rescue story! No way. Not on our watch. That won’t happen or we’ll give them hell. There’s a beautiful story abt human beings saving other human beings. So anyone thinking abt the story better approach it right & respectfully.

There are great Thai actors who can tell the story Jon! I agree. Please also remember that other countries *DID* send help, so it's "not whitewashing" the story if there are obviously non Thai actors in it. The Thai Seal Team absolutely should be all cast Thai.

I hope you'll cast actual Southeast Asian actors instead of the obvious Asian Americans. I'm all for diversity on screen but Asian American representation isnt the same as Asian representation. I want our narratives told as authentic as possible so i hope u'll keep that in mind.
