I am sick to death of hearing about the damn red wall. It doesn’t exist! People didn’t go out in droves to vote tory, they stayed at home and didn’t vote. Trying to appeal to these 330k fickle voters makes me mad.

I'm reminded of Hamilton:
"If you stand for nothing, Keir, what'll you fall for?"

I think I prefer the enter shikari version. If you stand for nothing you will fall for anything

A majority of people at last election voted for pro EU, socially progressive parties. Rather than try to unite that majority he’s chasing after the same socially conservative voters as the Tories.

I get the realpolitik at work. Red wall, FPTP, vote distribution etc etc but it’s time to be bigger and bolder

Labour trying to prove they can be more Tory and anti immigrant to the former Labour strongholds is not going to attract voters back whilst at same time alienating Labour voters in the cities.
