It would do no such thing. One person, one vote. Why should voters in Wyoming have more than 3 times the influence that voters in California have?

Because you asskissing leftists in the big cities want to force everyone to live the way you want them to live, and we ain’t havin’ it, and the Founding Fathers protected us from you jerks with the Electoral College, so tough shit.

What?! Actually Joni, Eliminating the electoral college means a single vote in Iowa = a single vote in Montana = a single vote in California.

Thats the problem...she thinks she should get more say. You know the couple million people in Utah, Montana, and Idaho are more important than the tens of millions in California or New York or any other populated state. To hell with the majority its all about me me me.

Ha since 2000 the Republicans would be done, because the popular vote has been for the democratics.

The Electoral College was specifically designed specifically TO silence the voices of everyone who wasn't an educated property owning man. Our founders literally didn't trust the people to vote, so they created the Electoral College to ensure only educated voices mattered.

Considering states like California have well over 10x the population of Iowa (and an even larger discrepancy in actual electoral votes), it's weird that you think the votes of Iowans deserve to count more than those of Californians.

Especially since our tax dollars support those red states that are ( in most cases) broke

No Joni, Electoral College vote takes votes away from those who's voices need to be heard most. It's not balanced and favors a minority.
