You should interview Manfred Spitzer, a german scientist who wrote a book about the effect of screens on children.

Let me help you-no screens. Literally-Do not prop open an iPad at the restaurant to hypnotize your child while you eat. Your job is to teach them restaurant manners. Do not stroller around the park with the iPad in your kids face either. Your job is to point out birds, trees, etc

Perfect timing with this one as my 9 year old, 6 year old and I head into what is sure to feel like a never ending summer with 86 hours in every day. Thanks for covering such an important topic!

I found this episode useful and thought provoking. I’m looking forward to reading The Stolen Year. As a parent whose child started kindergarten in 2020, these issues are ever present.
