Joe Biden will run on the most progressive platform of any Democratic nominee in history, and Bernie Sanders and the movement he inspired are a big reason why.
I also think that Bernie has more than earned the right to decide when and what’s next, and that the rest of the party should take this time to learn from his message and his candidacy. We’ll need all the help we can get in November.

He's also polling better in states with key Senate elections (AZ, NC). So his coat tails will position him to enact a more progressive agenda than would conceivably be achievable under Sanders.
