NC9 is a lesson. The GOP got the Lumbee tribe recognition and they turned out to support Bishop. The Dems have got to stop chasing after WWC voters and focus on increasing their base.

I am a firm believer in a positive message strategy this time. It's unclear to me the value of a negative ad against Trump in this cycle. If someone is still on the Trump train in 2020 after all they've seen, show me a 30 second ad that will change that.

Correct. If they are still on the Trump Train, there's almost no hope. Go for the undecided and open-minded and the first-time voters.
