Yes and he was voted in by the electorate. He does not take £1.75m public funds whilst engaging in tax avoidance and virtue signalling about austerity.

Look at his history. Cash for questions? Lead in petrol a good thing. Plus he was not voted in via a constituency but through the quite liberal regional vote process (oh we wish Westminster was the same).

Hamilton is flawed however his is not a world of pretense and fake views. He was voted by the electorate. Anyone interested in politics during that election knew Hamilton was standing. He wasn't anon on a top up list. The electorate chose him& he doesnt take £1.75m public cash.

The electorate did not directly elect him nor any UKIP member in Wales. He got in through the party vote option. A proportional representation but not in the classic way.

That is in dispute and is eclipsed by Lineker's £1.75m annual rake in any event.

Not for campaigns which was your original point.Every qualifying political party does. Not every ex footballer gets £1.75m pa out of public funds engages in tax avoidance and yet parrots the Corbynista cant about NHS austerity etc whilst wilfully reducing their own tax .
