Argentina can annexe the Falklands, Spain Gibraltar. Ireland (supported by the US) can annexe Northern Ireland. France has invaded Jersey. This international law thing was put in place for a reason.

I was under the impression that all laws passed by humans were political constructs. Is she implying that domestic law isn't? Perhaps then they should see if passing a law to make pi equal to 3 actually works.
