        Argentina can annexe the Falklands, Spain Gibraltar. Ireland (supported by the US) can annexe Northern Ireland. France has invaded Jersey. This international law thing was put in place for a reason.

        This principle used to work when the Royal Navy could point the natives to the correct interpretation of their obligations. I have some doubts as to whether it will still work in the 2020s

        I was under the impression that all laws passed by humans were political constructs. Is she implying that domestic law isn't? Perhaps then they should see if passing a law to make pi equal to 3 actually works.

        Finding it hilarious all the centrists horrified at the thought of our reputation as upholders of international being ruined. Are they that oblivious? We've always picked and chosen when to ignore it. Just look at the money we owe Iran, or stealing Venezuela's gold...
