If he was wasn't on shift, or promising to stay awake for those hours,there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. He's received MANY glowing reviews from Obama admin also.

They were on a Presidential trip and a medical emergency could have occurred at any time of the day or night. Shouldn't the President's personal physician be sober and ready to respond to any emergency 24/7 on a trip?
